Genealogy Family Tree

When creating a family tree, does one include a child that died in utero?

Ok, I’m referring to a baby that was stillborn. There is an official death certificate, and of course the child had a funeral, and was legally named. There was never a birth certificate since the baby was born dead. This was a full term child, by the way. The child has no SSN or anything like that, but there was a legal death certificate, so should this child be included in a family tree/genealogy line or not?

If the child had a name then include him or her as someone in your line. But leave notes…such as you did here. Legally named , funeral , but no birth certificate. It will help future generations of your family if you include all information. I hope that helped.
